2007 to 2011 Kia Optima and Several Kia Lotze Models Get Airflow and Filtration with K&N

K&N has released a lifetime replacement air filter (33-2934) for the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Kia Optima with a 2.4 liter engine, several Kia Rondo models with the 2.4 liter engine and several Kia Lotze models with a 2.0 liter engine. See below for the full list. Kia's Optima is a midsize sedan that shares its basic design with the Sonata. Kia's completely redesigned midsize Lotze made its debut in its home market of South Korea after the Frankfurt International Motor Show. The Lotze is sold under the name of Optima in the United States.

The Honda Fit is a subcompact, four door hatchback with a 1.5-liter four cylinder engine. Because of its light weight design, approx. 2500 lbs, the Honda Fit can achieve 0-60-mph in less than 10 seconds. As the cost of fuel continues to rise, Honda's claim of 33 mpg city and 38 mpg highway for their Fit has become a great option for getting around town and saving money at the same time.

K&N Engineering has developed high-flow replacement air filter, 33-2359, 33-2422, and 33-5027, specifically designed to fit the factory air box of the 2007 through 2016 Honda Fit. Replacement filter 33-2422 was designed for Honda Fit models released during the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 model years. Air filter 33-2359 was designed for 2007 and 2008 Honda Fit. K&N air filter 33-5027 was engineered for 2015 and 2016 Honda Fit models with 1.5 liter engines. For a guaranteed increase in horsepower, K&N has an air intake system that is sure to bring power you can feel. K&N's 69-1016-1TS is a short ram air intake kit that was designed for the 2007 and 2008 Honda Fit. It replaces the entire stock air box with a silver powder coated intake tube and a high-flow air filter that provides the same excellent filtration you have grown to expect from K&N.

Testing has shown that the 69-1016-1TS delivers an estimated 5 more horsepower @ 5500 RPM over the Fit's stock intake configuration. Using K&N's simple instructions the 69-1016-1TS, complete intake system, can be installed in approximately 90 minutes.

K&N has designed the 69-1017TTK performance air intake system for the 2009-2013 Honda Fit with a 1.5 liter engine that is guaranteed to increase power. When tested on the dynamometer, the K&N 69-1017TTK added an estimated 4.5 horsepower at 6000 RPMs.

Using K&N's simple instructions, the 69-1016-1TS or 69-1017TTK complete intake systems can be installed in approximately 90 minutes.

MG ZT 190 and MG ZT 160 Owners have New Options with K&N Peformance Air Intake

K&N Engineering has released a performance induction system for the 2001 - 2006 MG ZT190 with a 2.5 liter V6 engine (57A-6026) and a performance induction system for the 2003 - 2006 MG ZT160 with a 1.8 liter turbo engine (57A-6028). See vehicle list below for model details.

K&N's 57A-6028 performance intake kit for 2003 - 2006 MG ZT 1.8 liter turbo engine

The turbocharged 1.8 liter engine which produces 160 bhp was developed by the British engineering company Lotus. Available primarily in Europe, a Chinese version of the MG ZT with a nearly identical engine is under development.

K&N's 57A-6026 performance intake kit for the 2001-2006 MG ZT190 V6 engine

The 57A-6026 and 57A-6028 are designed to eliminate hot air problems and provide the benefits of an open cone filter and standard air box in one unit. There is a washable and reusable K&N high flow air filter within a protective shell which increases filtration and efficiency.

A flexi cold air hose, aluminum end cap, plastic Apollo end cap and an angled silicone hose are included in the 57A-6026 for the V6 engine. There are also plastic ties, #44 hose clamps, a stepped breather hose and a ½ inch outside diameter threaded vent.

For the 57A-6028 there is a flexi cold air hose, aluminum end cap and plastic Apollo end cap. There are also plastic ties, a #44 hose clamp, one threaded plug, one M6 Nylock Nut, a M6 Counter sunk Bolt, M6 Flat washer, a nylon conical washer, one saddle bracket and mounting hardware.

Installation of the 57A-6026 and the 57A-6028 is simple and can be done in 90 minutes or less with simple hand tools. Just remove the air box lid from the air box assembly and remove the air box base from the vehicle before replacing it with the K&N air intake system. For best performance results the cold air lid attachment can be fitted into the end of the Apollo.

The manufacture's air box and air path tubing restrict air flow into the engine. The 57A-6026 and 57A-6028 are designed to free your vehicle from restriction and allow air to reach the engine for added power and performance. Both kits come with the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Volkswagen Golf IV and Volkswagen Bora Diesels Gain Performance with K&N Air Intake System

The Volkswagen Bora is a compact family four door which sits on the same platform as the Golf IV. The biggest difference is space. The Bora's luggage capacity is nearly 50 percent more than the Golf IV. The Golf IV and Bora both have diesel engines and are primarily available in Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy and India.

K&N Engineering has designed a performance intake system (57A-6013) for the Volkswagen Golf IV and Volkswagen Bora with 1.9 liter diesel engines. See complete vehicle list below.

The 57A-6013 is designed to eliminate hot air problems while providing the benefits of an open cone filter and standard air box in one unit. A washable reusable K&N high flow air filter is within a protective shell called the Apollo for increased efficiency.

The manufacturer's air box restricts air flow to the engine. K&N's performance air intake system is designed to free your vehicle from restriction.

The K&N cold air intake system comes with the Apollo filter assembly, a flexi cold air hose, aluminum end cap, a plastic Apollo end cap and a silicone adaptor hose. Also included are a mounting bracket, saddle bracket, M6 flat washer, M6 nylock nut, M6 C'sunk bolt, a nylon conical washer, a plastic tie and a ¼ inch outside diameter threaded vent. There are two # 44 hose clamps and two large M10 washers.

Instructions are included in four different languages. The K&N performance intake kit is easy to assemble, usually in 90 minutes or less and comes with the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Mitsubishi L200 Diesel Owners Add Power with K&N Performance Air Induction System

The Mitsubishi L200 is powered by a 2.5 liter turbo diesel engine. It is available in three body styles, single, club and double cab and is based on the Dakar Rally inspired rally raid Shogun/Pajero Evolution, which has won the Dakar at least 12 times. Mitsubishi has sold more than 65,000 of these models in the UK.

Air Induction for Mitsubishi L200 Diesel

K&N Engineering has released a performance induction system (57A-6031) for the 2001- 2006 Mitsubishi L200 2.5 liter diesel engine. For added performance simply remove the stock air box and install the K&N Apollo, an open cone filter and standard air box in one unit.

The included adapter fits onto the K&N Apollo. It is connected to a stabilizing housing bracket which is designed to keep the Apollo in place. The cold air inlet delivers unrestricted cold air to the engine for added power and filtration.

The 57A-6031 is easy to install with simple hand tools in 90 minutes or less and comes with the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
