Air Filter for Honda CBF1000
K&N Engineering has just released a Replacement Air Filter
(HA-1006)
for the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Honda CBF1000.
More than 35 years of research and development has made K&N the leader in air
filtration technology. K&N Air Filters are made of 4 to 6 layers of cotton gauze sandwiched
between two epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens. The cotton is treated with a
specially formulated grade of oil. This causes tackiness throughout the cotton's
microscopic strands. The nature of the cotton allows air flow and when combined
with the tackiness of our oil, it creates a powerful filtering media that ensures
engine protection.
HA-1006
is a drop-in replacement air filter that requires no modifications. K&N Air Filters are
washable and reusable. K&N makes stock replacement air filters for virtually
every motorcycle and automobile on and off the road. K&N's stock air filters for
street vehicles are covered by our famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty and
will be the last air filter your vehicle will ever need.
A special edition K&N Filters Chevy driven by Jeff Arend made history on March
18th in Gainesville Raceway at the AC Delco Gatornationals.

Arend will always be remembered as the driver Ashley Force defeated for
her first NHRA Nitro Funny Car round victory. The legend’s daughter had a clean
4.789 run and left a tire-smoking Arend in her clutch dust. After two days of
solid qualifying, it was not the type of day Arend was hoping for.
Jeff Arend makes history at Gainesville Raceway
He drove the K&N Filters Chevy to three solid laps in four qualifying
attempts. On Friday, a 4.956 lap left Arend sitting in the 16th position
overnight. On Saturday, Arend made the quickest lap of the session on his first
attempt, with a 4.800 pushing him up to the No.4 spot. In the final run he moved
up to the No.1 spot with a 4.774.
“We put three full laps on the board, and got better with each one of them,”
said Arend. “We reset my career best speed for one thing, but the most important
part of it was just how consistently well the car was running. We expected to do
very well on Sunday, and I won’t deny the fact I really thought we had a good
chance of winning the race.”
Arend pulled away from the tree by nearly 6-hundredths of a second. That lead
evaporated before the 60-foot time, as Arend’s K&N/CSK car smoked the tires
almost instantly.
“I will admit that I didn’t think it was a good thing to have Ashley Force in
the first round,” said Arend. “She’s doing a great job driving that car, and
it’s a very fast Funny Car. They’re doing great and they have all the resources
of John Force Racing behind them. It truly was just a matter of time until she
started reeling off wins, and I just wanted to make sure she got the first one
off of someone else. It didn’t work out for us, but we’re leaving Florida with a
good car and some more good runs under our belt.”
Arend will race the K&N car at the O’Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals at Houston
Raceway Park March 30 through April 1.
“The Houston race will be a big one for our entire team,” said Worsham Team
Manger Bob Wilber. “We’re spending every hour we have available getting ready
for it. The special-edition K&N car performed extremely well in Gainesville. We
qualified 4th in a very strong field, and it was even in the No.1 spot for a bit
before being bumped down to 4th by three of the strongest cars in the sport.
That was our best qualifying effort of the year, and I think it shows that we’re
on the right track and we’re getting better. Now, we need to take it to the next
level and put both the K&N and the Checker, Schuck’s Kragen cars high up into
the field in Houston. We hope to win some rounds there and hopefully the race.
We know, with our K&N Oil Filters on the cars, that we can have confidence in
our lubrication system, and that’s critical to success in this high-performance
sport.”

The 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser was designed to look similar to Toyota's 1960s Land
Cruisers. The midsize SUV seats five, has two main doors and two rear-hinged
access doors.
Air Intake for Toyota FJ Cruiser
77-9030KP Installed in FJ Cruiser
K&N Engineering has developed a 77 Series High-Flow Air Intake System (77-9030KP)
with a bright finish for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser V6 4.0 liter engine. K&N
dynamometer tests show a horsepower gain of 8.17 @ 4785 rpm.
Power Gain Chart for Toyotya FJ Cruiser with K&N Air Intake
"The factory air box is mounted to the intake manifold," said K&N
Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "We gained horsepower by removing the factory
intake system and replacing it with our smoother, less restrictive air intake. We also put in
an oversized cone shaped K&N Air Filter (RF-1048)
which allows for more dirt retention before cleaning is required. This is great for weekend warriors who love to go on the dirty and dusty back roads. The heat shield on
77-9030KP
is secured using existing mounting points near the power steering reservoir and on the inner fender. "
The K&N Air Intake System is free-flowing which results in more power. "The mass
air sensor is installed in the K&N Intake tube with the provided hardware," said
Heck. "The placement of the mass air sensor was an important part of gaining
horsepower on this kit."
The factory engine cover fits in its original location once the K&N Intake
System is in place. It takes less than 90 minutes to
install most K&N air intakes with common tools. K&N air intakes come with the famous K&N Million Mile
Limited Warranty.
The Cadillac STS is performance oriented. It is a 4-door luxury sports sedan that comes with a high price tag. This flagship model is positioned
between the mid sized CTS and the larger DTS. Another mid-sized sedan is the
Oldsmobile Intrigue. Not as pricey as the Cadillac this model was manufactured
from the late '90s through 2002 by the Oldsmobile division of General Motors.
Oil Filter for Saab, Pontiac, Cadillac and Oldsmobile
K&N Engineering has designed a cartridge oil filter (PS-7003)
for several Cadillac and Oldsmobile models. It is constructed to satisfy the needs of
owners who want the very best oil filter available. K&N Cartridge Oil Filters are easy
to install. Simply remove the vehicle's oil filter housing and put the K&N cartridge in place of the used cartridge.
K&N Oil Filters are built from the ground up to allow for high oil flow rates while providing excellent filtration. PS-7003 is 3.819 inches in height (97mm), weighs 0.1 pounds (0 kg) and has an outside
diameter of 2.126 inches (54 mm).
K&N's Cartridge Oil Filters are covered by a limited warranty to be free of
defects in material and workmanship when installed and replaced using the engine
and equipment manufacturer's recommended service interval.
K&N vehicle applications for this oil filter are as follows:
Sprint car racer Jonathan Allard is the points leader in the Golden State
Challenge Series.
Jonathan Allard
Allard and Williams Motorsports ran in the double header at Kings Speedway
in Hanford, California this past weekend.
K&N Filters, Red Line Oil No.0
On Friday, Allard qualified sixth with the K&N Filters, Red Line Oil No.0
and ended up with the outside row number two starting spot for the 30-lap
feature. “We use K&N Engineering Oil and Air Filters along with K&N’s Carbon
Fiber Air Box,” said Allard. “K&N makes the best products, the oil and air
filters are easy to use and maintain. We just wash, assemble and race and we
never have to worry about performance.”
Allard made his move early in the feature and took the lead in one turn. There
were numerous cautions and the pace began to slow. At lap 20 Brad Sweet took
back the lead, but another caution stopped the race again. Roger Crockett was
able to get by Allard for second place. When the white flag came up Allard was
out of fuel but managed to make it across the line. He fell from third to
seventh on the final lap.
On Saturday, Allard was 28th in the qualifying order but moved his way through
lapped traffic to pick up the win and gain five points toward the championship.
Allard leads the Golden State Challenge Series point standings by three digits
over Sean Becker.
Williams Motorsports heads to Placerville Speedway for Round 5 in the GSC next
Saturday.
