The 2006-2008 Jetta was redesigned from the ground up. With the addition of a fuel-efficient Golf turbo, Volkswagen gave its popular line up a new boost. Consumers interested in the European inspired Audi A3 will find exterior proportions that resemble the Sportback.
K&N Engineering has released a High Flow Air Intake System (69-9503TFK) in black for the Volkswagen Jetta 2.0 liter engine, the Volkswagen Golf GTI 2.0 liter turbo engine and the Audi A3 2.0 liter engine. See below for a full list of 69-9503TFK applications.
K&N dynamometer tests show an 18.62 horsepower gain @ 4500 RPM. The factory fresh air duct attaches to the K&N Air Intake heat shield to ensure a steady supply of outside air to the oversized K&N High Flow Air Filter (RU-4960).
Many vehicles get air from the fender well, but the stock air box is on top of the engine on the Jetta, Golf and A3 which results in the need of ducting for outside air. K&N Engineers relocated the filter to the corner of the engine bay to enable the use of a large conical K&N Air Filter which is designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. Its placement takes advantage of the factory fresh air duct to feed the K&N Air Filter outside air. K&N's air intake design has lower restriction than the factory air box system resulting a power gain you are sure to notice right away.
The free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube is engineered to the specific vehicle design. The 69-9503TFK is designed to improve engine performance and is easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less. K&N High-Flow Air Intake Systems come with the famous K&N Million Mile Warranty.
The 69-9503TFK will fit the following applications:

The Sky Roadster was inspired by the English Vauxhall and put Saturn in the international design category. It has a wide stance, short overhangs and 18-inch wheels which are pushed to the corners. Another popular roadster is the Pontiac Solstice which sports an extra tailpipe out back and a small spoiler on the rear deck.

K&N Engineering has released a High Flow Air Intake System (69-8432TS) in powder coated silver for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Saturn Sky 2.4 liter engine and the 2006 to 2019 Pontiac Solstice 2.4 liter engine.
K&N dynamometer tests show a 5.41 horsepower gain @ 4700 RPM. The heat shield is designed to go between the oversized K&N High-Flow Conical Air Filter (RU-4990) and the front of the radiator. This isolates the filter from engine bay heat and keeps the air around it cooled.
The extra surface area provides even more airflow at lower restriction than a standard K&N O/E replacement filter that is limited to the size of the factory air box. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The oversized air filter also captures more dirt increasing the service life before a clearing (up to 100.000 miles) is required.
The K&N Air Filter is also protected by a Drycharger which provides added protection by repelling water from entering the intake track. The 69-8432TS is made from a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube.
It takes about an 90 minutes to install this K&N High-Flow Air Intake system with simple hand tools. The 69-8432TS is designed to improve engine performance and add under the hood visual appeal. K&N High-Flow Air Intake Systems come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
The Volkswagen Passat is a utilitarian workhorse with a great ergonomic layout in the passenger cabin. The Passat shares its basic architecture with the Audi A3 which also has a roomy interior.
K&N Engineering has released a washable, reusable, panel air filter (33-2384) for certain 2007 to 2017 Volkswagen Passat models, 2013-2017 Audi Q3 Models, 2010 to 2016 Volkswagen CC models, 2003 to 2010 Audi A3 models, 2008 to 2015 Skoda Superb models, and 2006 to 2014 Audi TT/TTS/TT RS models. K&N replacement air filters are backed by our original Million Mile Limited Warranty and will be the last air filter your vehicle will ever need. See the full list of 33-2384 applications below.
K&N Air Filters are effective due to the type of cotton we use, the weave of the individual cotton strands, the process by which it is woven, the chemistry of the oil, the oil's viscosity and absorbency along with the structural aspects of the aluminum wire.
K&N invented the concept of washable, reusable filters more than 35 years ago. There is a great deal of engineering behind every K&N Filter. Each filter is custom designed to fit in the factory air box and requires no modifications. K&N Air Filters are designed to increase horsepower while providing excellent engine protection. They will not void factory warranties.
Chris Steele returned to action at the Cherokke Speedway in Gaffney, South
Carolina for round seven of the City Chevrolet Big 10 Summer Series. He finished
third on the last lap to score his 17th top five finish of the 2007 season. In
eleven of those top five finishes Steele also has 12 top three finishes.

“Our K&N Engineering Products worked awesome,” said Steele. “I really couldn’t
picture racing without them, we wouldn’t be here without our sponsors.”
During the feature Steele moved his machine toward the front of the pack.
After a late race restart Steele passed Billy Thompson to take over the fourth
place position. Steele moved forward and chased Chris Ferguson, but couldn’t get
close enough.
On the final circuit Steele chose the outside lane and Ferguson stayed low.
Steele rolled by on the outside and moved up. “Our car was pretty good,” he
said. “We are still looking to get within a win at Cherokee Speedway. It seems
like every time we get close something happens to put us behind. This was a good
night for points and we will take that any day.”
Steele and his crew are headed out to Green Valley Speedway for a Fastrak
Southern Region Touring race. The event at the Glencoe, Alabama oval track will
pay $2,000 to the winner.

The Ultimate Street Car Challenge began at K&N Engineering’s Riverside,
California facility. For the fifth year in a row, engines roared in the K&N
garage as they were tested on the dynamometers to help determine the best street
car in North America.

In the challenge testing is done over a period of days to determine peak
and overall engine power, skid pad g-force, stopping distance on brakes,
emissions, fuel economy, quarter mile acceleration, engineering and raw displays
of power.

Competitors vie for the ultimate prize which is a picture of the winning
vehicle on the cover of Sport Compact Car Magazine. “We appreciate the level of
support provided by K&N Engineering,” said Joey Leh, Sport Compact Car Editor.
“I can’t think of another facility that is this large and allows us to
participate in side-by-side dyno testing. The staff is also very knowledgeable.”
Brent Mattraw, owner of a 2001 Audi S4 entered in the Street Car Challenge was
also happy with the K&N Staff. “It’s awesome to turn over the keys to my car to
a very professional crew at K&N,” he said. “There is never any drama and K&N
people know how everything works. The group is always very helpful. The dyno
room is great. I’ve used K&N Filters my whole life.”

1969 2002 model BMW. “My car tested very well in the first category,” he said.
“I use K&N Oil Filter
HP-2009,
it is a great product.”
The first day is over, cars were judged by a team of experts for their
presentation and engineering. Cars battle it out next at California Speedway in
Fontana, California.
