K&N Engineering designs and manufactures a wide variety of universal air filters to fit just about any application. Our filters are constructed with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges which allow for secure attachment.
K&N designed a new round tapered universal (cone) filter, RU-5162. It can be used as a universal crankcase breather vent filter, as an air filter for many gas motor RC cars or for any other application that needs an air filter with the dimesions listed below. K&N Filters provide excellent filtration to keep the internals free from debris. The RU-5162 comes with a 1/2 oz. pillow pack of K&N air filter oil.
This universal cone filter is also a replacement breather filter for K&N’s YA-6601-T ATV Power Lid. This Power Lid fits the 2001 to 2005 Yamaha YFM660R Rapter 660.
The RU-5162 has a 1 1/3" base outside diameter and a 1" top outside diameter. It is 1 1/8" in height and has a flange with an inside diameter of 1/4" and outside diameter of 5/8".
K&N Air Filters are washable and reusable. K&N filter cleaner is available to restore air flow efficiency so your air filter performs like new. It works to dissolve the dirt build up and old filter oil, and can be washed away with water.
The Nissan Maxima shares essentially the same engine with the Nissan Altima.
Both have V6 engines, known for acceleration. Punch the Maxima or Altima in any
gear and it takes off.

The K&N cold air intake design provides excellent air filtration and lower restriction
than the factory air box system resulting in an immediate power gain. A round
tapered chrome top high flow air filter (RC-4180)
allows free flowing air into the intake tube.
The heat shield assembly attaches to the intake tube. It isolates the K&N air
filter from the hotter temperatures around the engine as it allows it to receive
a consistent flow of fresh cooler air.
The crank case vent attaches to the rotationally molded intake tube. The

can be easily installed
in 90 minutes or less and is backed by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

World of Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz was awarded the Economaki Champion of
Champions Award at the 20th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in
Orlando, Florida.

The Fargo, North Dakota resident was recognized for his success during the
2007 racing season as the racer who best excels in his role as a leader of the
sport.

“This is a huge honor,” said Schatz. “To be mentioned with guys like Jimmie
Johnson, Sebastien Bourdais, Dario Franchitti and Tony Schumacher is quite an
honor. We did the best we could every night and had one of those unbelievable
seasons. This is something I’ll never forget.”
Schatz had a career-best season winning 19 World of Outlaws features, a second
WoO championship title and a second Knoxville Nationals triumph. He swept the
sports “Month of Money” this past summer and won his first Kings Royal at Tony
Stewart’s Eldora Speedway. Schatz also won the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup at
Lernerville Speedway, the Cleveland Brothers Williams Grove Summer Nationals and
the Super Clean Knoxville Nationals. Later in the season Schatz won his fourth
Williams Grove National Open and became the first driver to win all five of
those races in the same season.

Schatz will begin pursing his third World of Outlaws championship in February at

The Speedking, aka Russ Wicks is the only living person to hold world speed
records over 200 MPH on land and water. In 2007, at the Bonneville Salt Flats,
Wicks went 244.9 mph in a NASCAR-spec Dodge Charger for the new World Stock Car
Speed Record.

The Charger was built to NASCAR Super Speedway specifications to compete
in the Talladega high-speed oval. Normally this type of car approaches the 190
mph mark in competition, it was trimmed to maximize straight-line speed.

“We took the drive train and suspensions off the vehicle to make it more
symmetrical,” said Wicks. “We also tested the vehicle in the Chrysler wind
tunnel at Michigan.” The vehicle at the Salts was painted to resemble NASCAR
Champion Bobby Isaac’s Grand National Dodge Charger Daytona. Issac established
the original record “flying mile” Stock Car speed record of 216.949 mph in 1971.
“Pushing the limits of speed and technology is my life,” said Wicks. “I’m
totally thrilled with our new World Speed Record at the Salt Flats. We made it
into the Guinness Book of Records that day.”
Wicks also broke the 220- plus mph in Indy Car, NASCAR, NHRA dragster and
Unlimited Hydroplane. His record braking resume includes the WSR for prop-boats
at 205 mph and the WSR for fastest stock car at 244 mph.
“The environment at Bonneville is far from friendly,” said Wicks. “It’s dusty,
salty and there was a lot of silt. Our engine performance was fantastic with K&N
oil filters. The wrench off nut made everything easy for our team. There is no
such thing as a proper garage at the Salt Flats and every little bit helps. The
K&N air filters give us the biggest amount of air flow for optimal performance.

With more than 25 years of racing experience, Wicks became a fully sponsored
professional by the time he was 15-years-old. He began racing Motocross at
10-years-old and has plans to shatter more World Records in 2008.

The HA-6806 offers your Rincon the air it needs to provide optimum horsepower. It is washable and reusable and provides excellent filtration.
