K&N Engineering manufactures high quality performance products for the 1999 to 2008 Toyota Yaris. K&N high-flow replacement air filters, performance air intakes and premium oil filters are designed to help you get the most out of your Yaris.

K&N's lifetime replacement air filter, part 33-2360, is custom designed to fit in the 2007 and 2008 Toyota Yaris with either the 1.5 or 1.8 liter engine. Washable and reusable, K&N’s flat panel filter is easy to install.

The 33-2211 was designed for the 2000 to 2005 Toyota Yaris with the 1.5 liter engine and the 1999 and 2000 Toyota Yaris with the 1.3 liter engine. To add performance to your Toyota Yaris, simply remove the stock disposable air filter and drop in the high-flow K&N air filter.

2001 to 2008 Toyota Yaris models with the 1.5 liter engine and 1999, 2000, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Toyota Yaris models with the 1.0 liter engine use K&N’s 33-2131 replacement air filter.

For guaranteed horsepower, K&N offers a line of performance air intakes for the Toyota Yaris. For the 2006 and 2007 Toyota Yaris with the 1.5 liter engine, K&N has the 69-8612TFK cold air intake system. The 69-8612TFK is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system with a flat black powder coated finish. It, like all K&N air intakes, is designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction allowing more air flow to your engine.

Owners of the 2001 to 2005 Toyota Yaris with the 1.5 liter engine use the 69-8756TP or 69-8756TB for a guaranteed horsepower gain. The 69-8756TP come with a polished aluminum intake tube and the 69-8756TB comes with a blue powder coated intake tube. K&N cold-air intake systems are a great and easy way to add performance to your Yaris. Our systems can usually be installed in 90 minutes or less.

Rockcrawlers Fought Tough Terrain at We Rock USA Series Opener in Perris, Calfiornia

Team Waggoner Racing was on the scene at the first We Rock USA rock crawl of the 2008 season. The K&N Engineering sponsored team secured a 2nd place title.

Despite some really tough courses along the hillside at the racetrack, the Waggoner’s plowed through. There were a lot of nasty rolls and carnage for a lot of competitors. The crowd dispersed several times as cars flipped over one after another.

“The silt-like dirt on the rocks makes climbing really difficult,” said Cody Waggoner. “Without good traction you are sunk.” Team Waggoner powered through two tough courses before it was time for the insane drop-off course. “It was crazy to see Cody sitting on top of this boulder knowing he was going to drive off this huge drop,” said Lindsay Waggoner. “It was such a relief to see him land on all four tires and get a lot of points.”

By the end of Saturday, Team Waggoner was in third place overall. Sunday was even hotter and there was less wind as Cody and Jim Waggoner prepared for even tougher courses. “The dust kicked up with the slightest spin of a tire,” said Cody Waggoner. “When you are climbing these kinds of boulders you need to count on your engine running as clean as possible, especially when you need the extra boost to make it to the top. Our engine ran great and we owe it to the winning combination of our custom built CBM motor equipped with a K&N air filter.”

Cody and Jim Waggoner moved into 2nd place after a couple of great runs. The last course of the shootout sealed their fate. With only twenty seconds left on the clock Cody mistakenly exited the course through the wrong set of gates. All that mattered to them was to finish the shootout with minimal errors to keep the 2nd place status.

They didn’t roll over and completed the course to secure 2nd place, which was a great start for Team Waggoner to the 2008 We Rock USA series.

Brown demonstrated his driving technique and ability to focus in adverse conditions at the Sebring World Challenge GT race. He piloted the K&N Porsche to a top ten finish despite the weather, and without any incidents. The deluge had many veterans spinning through puddles and into tire walls in the season opener.

“We had quite a week at Sebring,” said Brown. “The World challenge race was barely controlled chaos. The rain had everyone scrambling to reevaluate setup and tires. In the end we stayed on dry tires and pushed forward to a satisfying finish.”

The team worked on the GT3 Porsche engine in the weeks between races. The second round of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will run April 18-20. SPEED-TV will air the event Wednesday April 30.

Supermoto Riders at ESPN's Navy Moto-X World Championships Get Test Run

There was a test run of the Supermoto track at ESPN’s Navy Moto-X World Championships at San Diego, California’s Qualcomm Stadium. Team Brand Moto Racing’s Johnny Lewis was asked to participate along with Graves Yamaha factory riders and AMA Supermoto champions Mark Burkhart and Brandon Currie.

The riders did six runs on the downhill ramp that passes over the stadium’s seats from the concourse to see if adjustments were necessary to the first dirt section. The riders also had the opportunity to try three full dirt Supermoto course runs.

The course is half dirt and half asphalt. The paved section circles around the pit areas in the Qualcomm parking lot. “I jumped at the chance when asked to do the test run with Mark and Brandon,” said Lewis. “That is a super steep downhill ramp leading into the stadium and the technical dirt section.”

The Supermoto final could be determined by the riders who can be perfect on the technical dirt sections and push it on the asphalt. Lewis will campaign the Xbux/AMA Supermoto Championship in the Lites Class along with other races.

Lewis uses K&N Engineering products. “I’ve used K&N filters since I was about 7-years-old,” he said. “K&N air filters help my engines breathe better and run faster. They also keep the dirt out of my engines on and off the track.”
