The Chrysler 300C is an amazing full-size family sedan. This luxury sedan comes with a 5.7 liter Hemi V-8 engine, offering 340 horsepower. The 300C SRT-8 model comes with a 6.1 liter Hemi V8 engine delivering 425 horsepower. This fuel efficient, full size luxury sedan has a lot of get-up-and-go. It’s no wonder that the Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8 are leaving the competition in the dust.

K&N AIR INTAKE SYSTEMS

Performance cold air intakes from K&N are guaranteed to increase horsepower.  By replacing your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with a K&N Performance Air Intake, your 300C’s engine can take in air with less effort. This translates into guaranteed horsepower.

Owners of a 2011-2016 Chrysler 300C model equipped with a 5.7L engine can improve their vehicle’s performance by installing K&N’s 63-1114 performance air intake system. Dyno tests using this intake saw engines gain an estimated 11.7 horsepower at 4513 RPM. This air intake is also compatible with the 5.7-liter engine in 2015 Chrysler 300S models.

The 63-1564 performance air intake system is designed to fit 2011-2016 Chrysler 300 3.6L and 2014-2015 Chrysler 300C 3.6L V6 engines. Dyno tests using the 63-1564 Aircharger kit produced estimated gains of 8.09 HP @ 5231 RPM.

Owners of a 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 Chrysler 300 models with a 6.4-liter engine may choose between two intake systems. The 63-1565 intake kit improves airflow to the engine using K&N’s RF-1042 high-flow air filter. The 71-2545 Blackhawk Induction system features black hardware and black filter media to bring a stylish appearance to your engine.

K&N’s 57-1542 air intake system is engineered to improve performance for owners of a Chrysler 300C 5.7L model made between 2005 and 2014, or a Chrysler 300C 6.1L model made between 2005 and 2010. The 57-1542 uses a non-metallic rotationally molded tube that can reduce intake air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal tube. This air intake reduces intake restriction allowing your 300C Hemi engine to inhale a larger volume of air over the OEM air filter assembly.

K&N 57-1544 Performance Air Intake is easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less. The 57-1544 is custom designed and is compatible with the 2005 to 2010 Chrysler 300 2.7L. The 57-1543 has also been designed for 2005 to 2010 Chrysler 300s; however, it is specifically catered for the 3.5 liter engine and produces an estimated 11.68 HP @ 6215 RPM.

K&N’s 69-2526TP was designed for 2005-2010 Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8 models with 5.7-liter and 6.1-liter engines. This air intake is also compatible with 2011-2016 Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8 models with a 5.7-liter engine, and the 2015 Chrysler 300S 5.7-liter engine. Testing has shown the 69-2526TP to gain an estimated 11.6 more horsepower @ 4854 RPM. Using a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum induction tube, the 69-2526TP straightens and smooths air-flow to your engine.

Worsham came into the race in tenth place and quickly pushed his special-edition Checker, Schuck's, Kragen Impala Funny Car past rookie Bob Tasca in the first round. Worsham increased his series points total by having three drivers ahead of him in points either fail to qualify or lose their first round laps. It also added some breathing room for Worsham over Tasca who had entered the race trailing him by a single point in the series

Angola Motor Speedway Opener Great Win for K&N Filters Rapid Racecar

Racers heated up a cool night at the Angola Motor Speedway in Fremont, Indiana at the start of the 2008 track season. After a long winter, fans packed the stands ready to watch the Superior Auto Modifieds battle it out.

Brad Springer and the Springer Motorsports team qualified on the pole in their No. 61 K&N Filters Rapid Race car open wheel modified Todd Sherman chassis. Springer’s Chevy powered motor is built by Rapid City Racecars. Springer races three engines with K&N Engineering products.  At the Superior Auto sanctioned event in Indiana he ran his 377cc engine.

This event was not part of the USA Modified Series. The season opener was a track sanctioned event. “Angola is my home track,” said Springer. “This race was for bragging rights. I just like to race, I really don’t care if it’s for a series or not. I just want to have fun. I had fun when I shot t-shirts into the crowd on opening night.”

The racing got exciting after a few cautions. Darwin Wolfe started up front and looked as if he would go all the way. But Springer worked his way from deep in the field to get right behind Wolfe on lap 20.  Springer passed him on lap 25 after a huge battle and pulled away for the win.

“This was my third win in a row at my home track,” said Springer. “I just wanted to keep my nose clean in this race.  I won the season championship at Angola last year and started off this year just like I wanted to.”

Springer uses K&N air and oil filters. “I’ve used K&N air filters for years, but this is my first season with the K&N oil filters,” he said.  Springer said he is a picky mechanic. “I work on cars and know what works and what does not,” he said. “Before I tried the K&N oil filter, I cut it open to look inside.  I’m highly impressed.  People want to give me products all the time because of my racing experience, but I will not use it unless it’s top notch. The K&N product line is impressive.”

Springer plans on contending for the USA Modified Championship. He will also compete in up to 15 Dirt Late Model shows in 2008.  His next race is the “Night Before 500” at the O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indy.
