K&N has released a new specialty air filter, part E-3972.
The E-3972 is the filter used in K&N’s RK-3930, a high flow air cleaner assembly designed for 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Harley Davidson Touring Models with 1584 cc motors.

The E-3972 has a unique shape, is washable, reusable and designed to provide increased airflow while providing excellent engine protection.
It is now available for those with an RK-3930 assembly that want to own a spare
filter. Owning a spare filter allows the user to rotate filters when dirty
and to clean the dirty one at their leisure.

K&N universal air filter RU-5172
K&N has released a new round tapered universal air filter (RU-5172) with 6 ply material and deep pleats. This makes it a great choice for a custom application where maximum capacity and filtration are required. The K&N air filter is constructed with an ultra-strong pliable urethane flange, which absorbs vibration and allows for secure attachment. K&N universal air filter flanges can stretch up to 1/16 inch (1.5 mm) to fit in between sizes.
The RU-5172 is 7.938 inches (202 mm) in height with an outside base diameter of 9 inches (229 mm) and a rubber top that has an outside diameter of 7 inches (178 mm). The inside diameter of the flange is 4.875 inches (124 mm). The flange length is 1.25 inches (32 mm), which allows plenty of room to clamp around many engine intakes. It comes pre-treated with 5.75 oz. of K&N filter oil so it is ready to use.
K&N universal air filters are designed to provide increased airflow while providing excellent engine protection. The K&N air filter is custom designed to fit into your existing factory
air box. The design of the K&N air filter means adding performance is simple.
Open the air box and remove the factory air filter holder.
Installation is
simply with K&N's detailed instructions which come complete with pictures.
Unlike disposable filters, K&N motorcycle air filters use cotton media treated with K&N filter oil that captures airborne dirt particles while allowing a high volume of air flow. More air means more power and torque when it is needed. Particles cling to the outside of the filter and actually become part of the filtering media. The KA-7508 is also washable and reusable.
K&N also offers a Drycharger air filter wrap for those who use their Kawasaki Teryx in wet or muddy conditions. Sold separately, the K&N Drycharger is a silicone treated, polyester wrap that is made to cover the K&N air filter. The Drycharger material contains uniform micron size openings that allows adequate air flow, yet due to its silicone treated polyester
repels water from the air filter. The KA-7508DK also increases the service life of the K&N air filter by keeping larger particles of dirt, sand or mud from the filter media.
K&N air filters sold for racing and off-road use are warranted against defective materials or workmanship for one year from date of purchase with no mileage limitation. That includes K&N air filters sold for ATV and motorcycle off-highway and/or dual purpose use.
The KA-7508 offers your Kawasaki Teryx the air it needs to provide the 750 cc powerplant optimum horsepower. It
is designed to increase throttle response and top end power.

K&N showed some flare at the 2008 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Andrew Comrie-Picard’s Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX rally car was hanging from the ceiling at the K&N booth.
The long history of K&N, brand legacy, and technical product testing was part of the messages delivered to help people learn about our products and understand the air filtration technology behind them. K&N showcased its air filter, air intake, and oil filter products to automotive enthusiasts through story boards located throughout the booth.
This year's booth also displayed a custom Pontiac G8 and 2009 Dodge Challenger, limited edition K&N 1970 Plymouth Barracuda collector cars from Hot Wheels, visits by AMA Supercross Champion Jeremy McGrath, World Champion Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr., NHRA Sportsman Class Driver Mike Ferderer, Second Winningest Formula D Drifter Chris Forsberg, and a whole lot more.
