2015 Ford Mustang 3.7L K&N 63-2594 AirCharger Performance Intake System is engineered to make your 2015 V6 powered Pony car fly

When the Ford Mustang was first introduced, the Blue Oval marketing department decided to give young buyers something they'd never had before: Choices. Prior to 1964, a vehicle's equipment was determined by its trim level. The 1964 Mustang on the other hand, came with a huge list of options that could be ordered ala carte. For the 2015 Ford Mustang, designers tried to capture the spirit of Ford’s original pony car by giving it iconic styling cues, and a laundry list of exciting options. One of these choices was the 300-hp 3.7L V6, which offers budget-minded buyers the thrill of a Mustang, and the fuel economy of something more practical. 300 horsepower is nothing to scoff at. But if you’re wishing you had V8 like performance, K&N can help increase the horsepower in your pony car by installing the K&N 63-2594 Performance Intake System.

An engine makes power by igniting a mixture of fuel and air inside the cylinders. The resulting explosion forces the piston down, which turns the crankshaft and sends power to the wheels. Introducing a large volume of oxygen-rich cold air into the cylinders, causes the fuel to explode with greater force, and allows the engine to make more power using roughly the same amount of fuel. The K&N 63-Series AirCharger Performance Intake System is engineered to feed your 2015 Mustang V6 engine a steady supply of cool air. This helps you get more horsepower, more torque, and faster throttle response.

K&N installed this air intake system on a 2015 Ford Mustang 3.7L, and dyno testing showed an estimated 7.49 horsepower increase, and 7.72 additional foot-pounds of torque. Of course, your individual results could vary due to the mileage, modifications, and condition of your specific car. But even coming close to that number will make a significant difference in the way your 2015 Mustang V6 drives.

To turn your Mustang into a thoroughbred, the K&N 63-Series AirCharger Performance Intake System does several things. First, it ditches the narrow, restricted factory intake for a wide diameter K&N intake tube that has been aerodynamically designed to straighten out the airflow path, and reduce turbulence. The K&N 2015 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 air intake also has fittings for the factory EVAP and crank case vent lines, which means you won't have to make any modifications. Using just a few sockets, wrenches, and screwdrivers, you should be able to install this entire K&N performance kit in about 90 minutes. The photos in the detailed installation guide will walk you through each step, and the K&N technical support team is available to answer any questions that may arise.

The final and most important part of the K&N 63-Series AirCharger Air Intake System is the high-volume conical K&N air filter. It's mounted behind an application specific air filter heat shield to prevent the warm engine bay air from mixing with the cooler air that's coming into the system. This reusable cotton gauze air filter can capture dirt particles that are smaller in diameter than a human hair, and it can go for up to 100,000 miles between cleanings (depending on road conditions).

Many famous V8-powered Mustangs didn't make anywhere near the horsepower of a 2015 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 and adding a K&N 63-Series AirCharger Intake will give your pony more power than a 1995 Mustang SVT Cobra R (300-hp), 2007 Mustang GT California Special (300-hp), or a 1970 Mustang Shelby GT350 (300-hp).

The K&N 63-Series AirCharger Performance Intake comes with a 10-Year/million mile limited warranty, and will not void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. But that's just the start, because K&N makes lots of other Mustang performance parts that are guaranteed to give your pony car a lot more giddy-up. 2008-2015 Ford S-Max, Galaxy II & Mondeo IV K&N performance air filter

The K&N 2008-2015 Ford S-Max, Galaxy II & Mondeo IV Diesel  replacement air filter is washable and can go approximately 80,000 km before cleaning, depending on driving conditions

Until the last few years or so, Ford was rather, well, boring. That changed significantly in the late-2000s with a fleet-wide facelift, new models and long lists of cutting-edge standard features. “Unlearn” is Ford’s newest campaign, which embodies this reboot at Ford, including their dedication to innovation and taking a fresh look at things. The Ford S-Max, Galaxy II and Mondeo IV are prime examples of this innovation, having gone under the knife a few years back and gathering new features and bits of advanced technology along the way. One component of these vehicles, however, that has kept its foot stubbornly in yesteryear is the factory disposable air filter. Take a fresh look at air filter technology and bring your air filter into the 21st century with a K&N E-2988 replacement Ford diesel air filter.

The K&N replacement air filter 2008-2015 Ford S-Max, Galaxy II, & Mondeo IV Diesel  models is an easy-to-install, drop-in replacement for the disposable Ford factory air filter on the models listed below. Innovation is present throughout every aspect of this air filter’s design. Where disposable air filters have a foam sealing lip, the K&N filter has a durable urethane sealing lip and end cap incorporated to provide excellent structural integrity. Between the two urethane ends are multiple layers of oiled cotton gauze for superior airflow rates and outstanding filtration efficiency. Cotton flows far better than paper which helps to minimize restriction, allowing your engine to breathe easier and perform better. For the more precise tolerances of these diesel applications, 4 layers of a special tighter weave cotton is used to provide an overall efficiency rating of 99.1% for the E-2988 replacement diesel air filter.

Just once every 50,000 miles (approx. 80,000 km) or so, depending on driving conditions, simply remove the filter from your vehicle and service it with a K&N Recharger kit. The cleaning process is simple and K&N provides easy-to-follow step-by-step cleaning instructions. K&N backs the E-2988 replacement air filter with a 10-year/million mile limited warranty. This way owners can rest assured this innovative air filter will protect their Ford for many miles to come.

Innovation is only as good as the longevity of the results it yields. With over 40 years of expertise and innovation in its DNA, the additional performance available from a K&N replacement air filter is tried and true. Unthink your air filter and give your Ford S-Max, Galaxy or Mondeo diesel superior airflow and superior performance with the K&N E-2988 replacement air filter. 2005-2014 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L V6 50-State Street Legal Air Intake from K&N

2005-2014 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L K&N

50-state street legal 2005-2014 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L V6 K&N air intake can help get more power from the 236-hp/266 lb-ft Toyota V6 engine

2005-2014 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L K&N Performance Air Intake

50-state street legal 2005-2014 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L V6 K&N 57-Series FIPK Performance Air Intake

The thing that people love most about the 2005-2014 Toyota Tacoma is its rugged simplicity. There's no air conditioned seats with embossed belt buckle upholstery. The step bars don't whirr themselves down to greet you, and there's definitely no 'soft-touch surfaces'. Instead, everything is big, easy to operate, and made from sturdy materials. This allows you to use the 'Taco' like a truck, and not worry about breaking stuff. And that simple-is-better philosophy carries over to the engine bay, where its tough 4.0L V6 doesn't 'wow' you with twin-turbos and lots of horsepower. But it's certainly capable of covering several hundred thousand miles without skipping a beat. 236-hp/266 lb-ft isn't a lot of power though, and it can leave many Tacoma owners wanting for more. Which is where the 50-state street legal K&N 57-9025 FIPK performance air intake comes in.

One of the best ways to increase horsepower and torque, is to make an engine breathe better. When you funnel a high volume of cold air into the cylinders, the engine is able to burn fuel more completely. This 'combustion efficiency' results in more force/horsepower being created every time that the fuel detonates. We dyno-tested a 2012 Toyota Tacoma with a K&N 57-Series FIPK air intake system fitted to its 4.0L V6, and found that it made an estimated additional 8.9 horsepower and 12.7 lb-ft of torque. The K&N FIPK system also sharpens the throttle response, which makes that power increase immediately noticeable. Your individual performance increase may vary, due to things like the mileage, modifications and condition of your exact Tacoma. But you will definitely see a difference in the performance.

To make this power increase possible, the narrow factory intake tube and low-flow OEM paper air filter gets replaced by a shortened, large diameter K&N intake tube that connects directly to the base of the factory air filter box. This direct path allows more air to be delivered to the engine, with less restriction or turbulence. Surrounding the high-flow K&N air filter is an application specific air filter heat shield, which prevents the high-volume conical K&N air filter from collecting the warm air inside the engine bay.

The 2005-2014 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L V6 K&N 57-Series FIPK Performance Air Intake improves performance but maintains factory emissions controls found in the original air box

Another advantage of the 50-state street legal 2005-2014 Toyota Tacoma V6 K&N 57-Series FIPK air intake system is longevity. You can go up to 100,000 miles (depending on driving conditions) before the reusable K&N cotton gauze air filter needs to be cleaned. The entire intake system is also backed by a 10-Year/million mile limited warranty, so your K&N intake is guaranteed to be just as durable as your truck. And don't forget, K&N makes other performance parts like high-volume fuel pumps, oil filters, and low-restriction fuel filters. 1994-1996 Ford Bronco & F150 V8 Air Intake System from K&N Boosts an Estimate 10 HP

1994-1996 Ford F-150 / Bronco 5.0L V8 & 5.8L V8 K&N Air Intake System

K&N 57-Series FIPK Intake for the 1994-1996 Ford F-150 / Bronco 5.0L V8 & 5.8L V8

Once upon a time, people actually used their Sport Utility Vehicles to go off-road. Whether they needed to check out the fence line on the back-40, or get to a remote fishing/hunting/camping spot, SUV's like the 1994-1996 Ford Bronco had the chops to get them there. The fact that it could be driven on the road was an added bonus, and the Bronco's steep price tag also made it something of a status symbol. It shared its platform and engines, the venerable 302/5.0L V8, and the equally formidable 351 Windsor/5.8L V8, with America's most popular pickup, the 1994-1996 Ford F-150. Together, these two brawny Ford's helped lots of people get lots of stuff done. But their shared V8's never lived up to their performance potential, which you can rectify with a K&N 57-2543 FIPK air intake.

1994-1996 Ford F-150 / Bronco 5.0L V8 & 5.8L V8 K&N Air Intake System Box

K&N Performance Air Intake Kit for the 1994-1996 Ford F-150 / Bronco 5.0L V8 & 5.8L V8

Back in the mid-90's, the Ford V8 was constrained by its restrictive factory air intake system. The 302 and 351 were originally designed to use carburetors, but the addition of fuel injection and emission controls led to rather poor airflow characteristics. K&N's 57-Series FIPK performance intake system, number 57-2543, is designed to replace Ford's narrow intake tube, and factory air filter box with its tiny air inlet. In its place, the K&N air intake uses a wider diameter High Density Polyethylene intake tube that feeds air directly into the throttle body. Unlike the stock piece, the inside of the K&N intake tube is completely smooth, which significantly reduces air turbulence, and its shape has been aerodynamically optimized to provide a more direct airflow path.

Since cold air contains more oxygen than warm air, cooler air enables the engine to burn more of the fuel during the combustion cycle. This stronger "explosion" allows this K&N 57-Series performance air intake system to deliver an estimated increase of 10 extra horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque (depending on things like your engine's condition, mileage and modifications) on a 1995 Ford F150 5.0L V8.

In order to channel a high volume of cold air directly to the engine, this K&N performance air intake kit comes with a sturdy heat shield that sits in place of the stock air box. This protects the large conical K&N performance air filter from the warm air inside the engine bay, and allows the system to collect the coolest air possible. That filter also provides clean air with higher airflow than a stock paper air filter, and you won't have to clean it for up to 100,000 miles (if you drive in dusty/dirt filled environments, we recommend that you inspect the filter every 25,000 miles). Plus the entire intake system is backed by a 10-year/Million Mile Limited Warranty, so you can rest assured that it'll perform for years to come.

Young Jacob Hodges Scores First NHRA JDRL Wally at Wild Horse Pass Drag Strip

Jacob Hodges is approved to race as fast as a 13.90 dial in at 45 MPH

This is Jacob Hodges’ second year racing Junior Drags and at an age when most kids would be content to ride a bicycle downhill, Jacob Hodges is approved to race as fast as a 13.90 dial in at 45 MPH

It was roughly a year ago when K&N Filters sponsored drag racer Jacob Hodges hit a milestone in his budding career. At a minimum of 10 years before he was eligible to be licensed by the California Department of Motor Vehicles, Jacob Hodges, just 6-years-old at the time, earned his Jr. Drag Racing license. During the Southern California Drag Racing Association (SCEDA) race weekend at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, California, Jacob spent two days on the track running through the paces and earning his stripes.

Now, young Master Hodges is a whopping 7 years old and winning races. Recently Jake scored his first Wally at the Wild Horse Pass Drag Strip for the NHRA JDRL Division seven races. It was a double header weekend for Jake out in Chandler, Arizona. Jake’s first race on Saturday started out well with a first round win, however, he was eliminated in the second round in a double break out race. Breaking out is when a racer manages to cross the finish line in less time than the predicted elapsed time he dialed-in beforehand. While both drivers broke out, Jake Hodges broke out more.

Briggs & Stratton Racing L0206 engine with K&N clamp-on air filter R-1100

Jacob’s father Travis Hodges, who is K&N’s Race Team Manager, has equipped Jake’s Briggs & Stratton Racing L0206 engine with K&N clamp-on air filter R-1100 to provide superior airflow

The next day is when things began to go in Jake’s favor. His first round on Sunday was extremely close, but Jake got the win light by a mere .009 of a second. Jake played a game of strategy in round two of eliminations to get the win. Playing it smart, Jake realized his opponent was going too fast, so Jake hit the brakes and let his opponent break out. Round three was an easy win for Jake as he had a bye run on his side of the eliminations ladder and simply had to cross the finish line to advance.

Jake put on his race face going into the final round and kept his winning strategy in the back of his mind. It must be hard for extremely young racers to avoid the temptation to drive as fast as possible every time they leave the starting line, however this perseverance paid off for Jake Hodges. His reaction time was a bit slow, so as Jacob neared the finish line he hit the brakes to avoid breaking out of his dial-in. Jacob dialed in a 13.90 elapsed time (ET) and crossed the line with a 13.977. His opponent, however, had a 13.86 dial in but overshot it running a 13.292. This handed the final round win over to Jake Hodges and earned him his first Wally.

It was roughly a year ago when K&N Filters sponsored Jacob Hodges earned his drag racing license and now he has scored his first win at the NHRA JDRL Division 7 races in Chandler, Arizona

This is Jacob Hodges’ second year racing Junior Drags. At an age when most kids would be filled with adrenaline as they ride a bicycle downhill, Jacob Hodges is approved to race as fast as a 13.90 dial in at 45 MPH. In July, when Jacob turns 8, he can run up to 11.90 at around 55 MPH. That’s pretty fast for a kid who probably still has most of his baby teeth. Jacob Hodges and his car will be on display at the NHRA Winter Nationals in Pomona, California on February 13-14, 2016. Jake’s next race will be the Southern California Drag Racing Association (SCEDA) race weekend at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, California on April 23-24, 2016.
